Corrections policy
Challenge the claim, and show us the evidence.
How Gut Elements receives, evaluates, publishes, and records factual corrections.
Effective September 3, 2026. Accuracy matters more than defending an earlier version of a page.
Submit a correction
Email editorial@gutelements.com with the page URL, the exact statement at issue, why it may be inaccurate, and a primary or authoritative supporting source. Please do not send private medical information.
How we assess it
The accountable editor checks the cited evidence, the wording in context, and any material published after the article. Brands may correct objective facts such as ingredients, packaging, or availability, but they cannot require removal of supported criticism or purchase a more favorable conclusion.
How changes appear
- Minor correction: spelling, grammar, or a change that does not alter meaning may be fixed without a note.
- Material correction: a factual change that affects interpretation, safety context, calculation, or verdict receives an updated date and a visible explanation.
- Substantial revision: a page that no longer reflects the evidence may be rewritten, withdrawn from recommendations, or removed with an explanation where practical.
Response and record
We acknowledge actionable submissions when the published contact address is fully operational. Review time depends on the evidence and whether specialist input is needed. Material correction notes remain attached to the relevant page so readers can understand what changed.
